It's Bad Again...

Twitchy all the time. Not "flappy" yet. I'm not trying to fly away. But it feels like it's going to come soon. Perhaps even today.

Can't sleep past 4am.

2 days this week, the lovely roommate's psychotic cat has been standing outside the bedroom door screaming for attention at FOUR IN THE MORNING. The cat is only psychotic when the roommate is away, which includes the last 2 weeks. He is driving me insane. So after 2 days of being woken up by a cat at 4am, and one day of being woken up because I REALLY HAD TO PEE at 4am, my body must think this is now the time we get up in the morning.

All the twitching means I've severely dislocated my shoulder, collar bone, and upper ribs; which in turn means I have been in LOTS of pain; which then means I can't get comfortable enough to sleep until I've been in bed for a few hours... Horrible cycle.

I feel like cutting off my left arm. It just hurts so bad. All. The. Time.

I've also been choking a lot lately. It almost feels like my larynx is moving, causing me to choke and gag. It's unpleasant to say the least. It's also made worse by the twitching, because it tends to cause me to look very far to my right, very quickly.

My heart's going out to you sweetie. Can you watch a movie or find something to do that can distract you for a while? I'd avoid rollerblading though. ;) I just can't imagine what you're going through.
Sending you gentle, bundling hugs...

melatonin is my best friend, maybe it could help you too. Choking and sleep deprivation combined is the worst. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming

Hang on and take it one moment at a time.

Maybe you need some catnip or something for the crazy cat.

Know you are being thought of. Things that wiggle themselves out of whack can wiggle themselves back. I hope that happens soon for you.

HUGS!!

Thanks for the comments. My shoulder and ribs have gone back in for now. Collar bone is still sitting funny. I fell yesterday. Twice. First time it was just my hip subluxing. Second time I dislocated my ankle, fell, then dislocated my knee, hip and a bone in my foot. So my knees hurt today. Everything there is back where it should be though.

Trying to take it easy this weekend, but I had planned on going to the ice caves either this weekend or next... looks like it'll have to be next weekend.

::hugs:: I do the choking a lot :( It's gotta be one of the most infuriating things ever. Especially if it doesn't wait until you've at least gotten a little food down; choking on the first couple bites makes for a very unsuccessful meal.

I hope the clavicle settles back in soon so you can get to the ice caves. That sounds like a lot of fun!

The worst part oabout the choking for me, is it happens when I'm NOT eating or drinking. I'll just be sitting, and then I choke on nothing, and gag for a while, then it stops, and I have to remember how to breathe almost.

Going to re-try the ice caves this weekend. I hope I can do it. And if I can't I will anyway. I'm going to be stubborn about this one, and tell my body to go take a hike - literally.
